Cooking crab and lobster in a sand pit...?

I am wanting to know any information on how to prepare and cook crab and lobster in a pit on the beach, we have a huge party coming up in the summer and I thought this seemed like a cool idea. I have seen it done on some cooking shows, but can't seem to find any informatino anywhere on the specifics of tackling this kind of project. help pleaseCooking crab and lobster in a sand pit...?
