How do you know when a lobser is cooked?

I like bith whole lobster and lobster tails and I want to try to make some at home. How can you tell when a lobster is cooked when steaming or boiling? Tails and whole lobster? I know how to cook them i just dont know how to tell when they are done. How do you know when a lobser is cooked?
Shortly after it stops screaming. How do you know when a lobser is cooked?
I must be an idiot, I have been broiling them....
It turns red.
when it stops the screaming sound and the shell is fully red.
Turns bright red and the flesh is white, not grey-ish.
if the lobster isn't cooked, who cares, you now have Sushi
I grill them for 6 minutes per side!
When the little white thing pops....put a chicken in the pot at the same time, when it turns white, and the lobster turns red your done!...about 7 minutes for a 1.5 lb in water.
A lobster is cooked when he starts spilling his drink and should be cut-off immediately.

Seriously, it turns red.
a lobster is completely red when it is cooked, because all the pigments are masked, except the red background color of a lobster
Of course they turn red. when the water boils, drop them in for 17-23 minutes depending on size, this includes if muli lobsters are done at the same time..
once it stops squirming around its time to feast
he stops moving
