Never cooked lobster tail?

I want to grill lobster tail. I have read to put skewers thru them to prevent curling....my question is after they are cooked do I need to ';pop'; the meat out? and about how long do I cook them on the grill for?Never cooked lobster tail?

Here's how I grill lobster tails. Take a heavy knife or kitchen shears, and cut down the shell, from open end to tail. Then take a chef's knife, and wiggle it into the cracked shell and cut straight down, kind of cracking the shell into 2, but not breaking into 2 pieces. You want it hinged. Then bend the 2 halves back. Season w/ S%26amp;P or whatever you like. Then lay ';open/meat'; side down on grill on high for about 5 min. Then flip meat side up, and leave on hig heat, rotating them around to avoid hot spots, until shell is totally orange and meat is no longer see-thru but is white and opaque. At this point you can squeeze a little lemon on them to help keep them from drying out. Easy-peasy and SO GOOD!
This very good for lobster tails=]
