How long will 99 cooking take me on Runescape?

I have level 53 cooking at the moment. And I'm in Catherby catching my own lobsters and cooking them on the way to the bank. How long should it take me to get to level 99 cooking?How long will 99 cooking take me on Runescape?
Sorry to disappoint you but the way you are trying to gain both fishing AND cooking lvls will definately take you a long time.


Cooking by itself will probably take you almost 80 hours to reach lvl 99(make sure you can the cooking gauntlets from the quest 'Family Crest' as they will result in less burns).


Fishing will take much longer than that so don't even consider fishing and cooking at the same time if you only want cooking exp.





The way to do it is to buy the food raw and then sell cooked. Surely, this will result in a decrease in the amount of money you have but in the end it will ';only'; take you -10m net profit to buy the raw and sell the cooked (most other skills require much more than 10m).


In order to benefit most out of this buy/sell lobsters until atleast lvl 85 so you don't burn any sharks (huge decline in price for the skill since burning gives no exp) and then turn to sharks.





If you don't have the money it depends how developped your character is. Use the runescape wiki for great money techniques.

Well it of course depends on how many hours you play a day. However, with the method you stated you're looking at several months.





If you're rich you should buy raw lobsters, then monkfish, then sharks.
well, record how long it takes you to do 5 batches (it will create an average time per batch if you record the time of multiple batches at once). then, take the total exp you still need, divide it by the exp you gained in those 5 batches, and multiply that number by the time it took you to cook those batches.
That will take forever if you are doing both skills what I would do is buy as much raw trout/salmon, cook all then sell, and keep doing that till your a higher level, You might need to find a way to make money first
