How long should I cook a 32-36oz lobster tail?

I'm really not sure how to cook lobster at all, but I won't be grilling it. I want to butterfly the meat, but if wrapping the tail in foil and baking will insure the meat cooks evenly I'll do that. I'm open to preparation suggestions. How long should I cook a 32-36oz lobster tail?
I am a former chef and do it as you said, I would season it lightly or if you like with a garlic butter preparation, and wrapped in foil at 375 d F for 20-25 minute is fine, let it cool for a few minutes and serve. How long should I cook a 32-36oz lobster tail?
A solid way to cook a lobster tail is to boil it partially and then broil it in an oven. Typically for whole lobsters, you add 5 minutes of cook time for every pound. Being that this only a tail, the cook time shortens a bit. Boil it in some old bay flavored water for 4 minutes, then split it open and butterfly, add some whipped butter and seasoning to the tail meat and broil in the oven for a minute or two. This process has worked for me many times.
