They were frozen. My mom doesn't know how to cook them.What's the best way to cook lobster tails?
these are very good and quick since they are cooked in the microwave....
4 (8oz) lobster tails
2 tablespoons margarine
arrange frozen lobster tails around outer edges of a rectangular baking dish.12x8 inches or 10inch square casserole dish..... microwave on high until lobster tails are flexible.. about 5 min........ let stand covered 10 minutes....
place margarine in a small bowl... microwave on high until melted, 30-40seconds.... with a sharp knife split shells on the underside of each tail and brush with margarine... cover... microwave at high until lobster flesh is opaque.. about 6-10 minutes.....

Once they are thawed, turn the upside down and with a cleaver, crack through the bottom of the shell. Do not go all the way through, just through the shell. Spread the shell apart and remove the meat all in one piece.
Turn the shell upright again and place the meat on top. Put both, meat on top, in a metal pie pan and add about 1/2'; of water. Sprinkle the top of the meat lightly with paprika and place a pat of butter on top. {Put the pan and meat and shell in the broiler and cook about 7 minutes.
